1988 Suzuki Jimny JA71 Hardtop

Metallic sky blue paint, the word ‘TURBO’ seemingly covering every surface, fuel injection with a functional hood scoop feeding a top-mounted intercooler, this Jimny is a wonderful time capsule from when SUVs were new and exciting.

Classic two door SUV, but shrunk down to comply with kei class regulations in Japan, this Jimny wears its original decal package well. Glass is in great shape, windshield is clean and clear, all lights work perfectly. Both front and rear bumpers are excellent, with the front grill and its integrated yellow fog lights being a nice highlight. Wheels present well, with no major flaws. Great spare tire cover is included, and thankfully this Jimny hasn’t had its rear license plate moved to the door like so many others.

Inside is completely original, including the neoprene door panels, seat inserts and the rubber floor mats. Heck even the radio is original. This Jimny includes the altimeter and inclinometer above the head unit. Rear seat folds and stows as expected.
